On this night we gather in Celebration

By lighting our tree of Gloucester's Faith

To give praise to God our father of creation

With loved ones all viewing from beyond Heaven's Gates

Our tree sits in the silhouette of our Flags & Stars

With the imprints of hope circling the Statue Great

Our children clinging to their loved ones near & far

Those on this Island & the Sands of Iraq & Kuwaiti

Our Christmas tree is a message that will ring true

That of Peace & Goodwill to all of earth kind

It is a tradition that we in our hearts & souls renew

That will echo in all our beloved service people to find

Listen closely to your heart & souls

It cries ours, for the gift of Love & Peace

Look into the eyes of each child that you embrace

For the answer to be found, is in Jesus to seek.
